The Cockburn family lived in our village and were tragically killed in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. A tribute was arranged for this evening as the little girl, Lacie, would have celebrated her 2nd birthday today. As a tribute, hundreds of Chinese lanterns were lit and sent up to see her tonight. It was beautiful to see them all glowing, but sadly the strong winds made a decent photo impossible, RIP Lacie.
