Before the Gale

A Southerly gale force 9 was forecast for 10:00am but at 8 it was just dull and choppy. Keith here was the brightest thing in the water which looks very grey when the sky is grey. 
As we got out we noticed someone preparing to swim up the length of Windermere- we recognised the safety boat, Perhaps they were expecting to be blown up the lake in record time.
