A dark and solemn day

Today was the funeral of my wife's ex boss and friend. 
Les was the nicest of men as well as an excellent boss. She worked with and for him for many years until his retirement. He was taken all too early. 
People came from all over, including Spain and even New Zealand. I think that say's it all.

The photo is a mono re-work I did today of one I took around the last time I myself met Les. It reflects the dark feeling many of us felt, but also shows the light and tone that he bought to life. The light will win!
