Wet, wet, wet

We should have driven down to Cornwall this afternoon but in view of the ghastly weather, we have decided to postpone our journey until tomorrow morning when it should be more agreeable. We have two rooms looking respectable for when our visitors arrive after we return from our trip.
The gas fire has been switched on in the lounge to give it a boost, it’s very cosy. My blip shows one of my acers through the window which is colouring up nicely. We are trying to get rid of an infestation of fruit flies which have invaded us. We think we are winning but time will tell.
