Rainy London

Our staff away day today :)  Had a pretty leisurely start, meeting at Aldgate station at 10:45am - and then we were taken on an East London walking tour (The Silent Voices of Whitechapel - focusing on Jack the Ripper's victims and giving them a voice, rather than glorifying the murders).  It kept raining on us (hard!) - but it also kept brightening up at various points - and it was a really interesting tour. 

After that we went for a long, lazy lunch at an Italian restaurant nearby.  So nice to hang out with all my lovely colleagues :)

I popped to a couple of shops afterwards, in a vain attempt to find a birthday present for my Mum - then walked back to London Bridge to catch the train home.  Some lovely light as I crossed the bridge.

Knackered by the evening, so very happy to snuggle up with Tim for the latest episode of Bake Off :)
