Back to England Soon

Next Friday I'll finally be back in England for the first time this year. Originally planned to visit in May, but that was under the assumption that we would have moved out of Ulster accommodation by that point. Of course, that didn't happen.

From tomorrow until the end of March, we must put the heating on for two hours each day at 24°C according to the landlord/letting agent. Apparently it's to prevent pipes bursting but that sounds ridiculous. Seen many suggestions online that 18°C is fine for the winter months. Also, there's a cost of living crisis! Won't that be a little expensive??

We currently live around the Holylands area of Belfast. It has gained a reputation for being host to a large amount of anti-social behaviour, especially after the area became more populated with students. There are articles online from the past week about how bad it is getting. A retirement home down the road had a window smashed and many cars have had their side mirrors kicked off or at least badly damaged. We've seen many police cars driving down the road the past month. We didn't realise it, but they're conducting an operation here. Doesn't seem to be working particularly well.

Photo is of Roundway Hill near my hometown. Very nice area and one that I've been to throughout my life. Will be nice to go back but R is staying here. I'll miss her but I'll return in just over a week.
