Hydrangea

These beautiful flowers were laying on the ground.  Hope that when they dry out, they'll poke their heads up again.  I just noticed that there is a little fly on the left.  I've been seeing a large bright green spider on them too eating the flies.  Nature.

We were  very fortunate with Hurricane Ian's second landfall.  We got a large amount of rain (6.5 inches) and some wind (25-50 mph) but other than that, we've come through it easily. Except for my tropical ginger plant nothing was injured.  Ready for the weekend when it is supposed to be sunny and moderate temps. Saying goodbye to September and hello to October - not my favorite month.
