No hummingbirds were spotted on or nearby these colourful flowers, 73 varieties are available and are apparently a favourite haunt for many nectar loving creatures.
These were spotted at the Made-well cafe where I met up with a colleague from my workplace who, with a friend, was riding his first ever 100k bike ride, a result of our Team challenge back in July. A warm beverage and homemade flapjack were enjoyed by all three of us.
