Up, up and away!

These decorations are a clue to where I took mum and dad for breakfast! Well, only a clue if you are local and know they adorn the ceiling of Fordmore Farm cafe!

I had a rather nice Eggs Benedict to start the day.  Ian was out refereeing and Leo couldn’t be persuaded away from the PS5 as the latest version of FIFA is just out.

In the afternoon we headed to SJP for a local derby against Bristol Rovers. It ended 2-2 and we didn’t really deserve it. We only got our goals through a soft penalty and a misjudged bounce from their keeper. We must have only had one other shot on goal.  For some reason our away form is good and then we are rubbish at home.

Worse news came when we got home https://www.exetercityfc.co.uk/news/2022/october/matt-taylor-statement/ so we are waiting to see if our manager leaves ;(

I went to bed around 6:30pm as I was so whacked.  I napped, woke up, watched the first episode of the latest Taskmaster series and then fell back asleep so a lovely long sleep.
