Conquering the mighty conker !

I think I mentioned that Dave had been out collecting conkers from which to make washing liquid .The next step involves smashing them into small pieces and then dry them slowly in the oven . He has been at it all day , I admire his tenacity as I would be bored after only a short time .
Bramble has had two pleasant, leafy autumnal walks and more housekeeping jobs have been ticked off .we have listened to a lot of music throughout the day .
Now we need to do a big tidy up to make the house Arthur proof and then it will be time to watch the Strictly Results show .
I could comment on the grim political situation we find ourselves in but what’s the point !
