Monday

I have finally found the time to try Cyanotype printing and I've learnt a few lessons already. It is such a quick process!

Firstly, pressed flowers, leaves, grass etc, are better than just plonking something freshly picked on the paper.

Secondly, I need better quality paper. Mum was an artist (as well as a talented musician) so I have what paper stocks she left. There will be better quality somewhere.

I've pressed lots more foliage so can try again soon.

Black and white negatives can be used so I have bought some acetate sheets to print images on to. And I've xrays from my ill fated trip to Cyprus.
