A fine Trio

Decided to make use of our annual pass to the RZSS and make a visit to Edinburgh Zoo. Not too busy on a Monday morning. The zoo is built on many rather steep hills so we got the free taxi up to the top and then made our way slowly downhill.

My favourites are the King Penguins with their striking orange markings. They are definitely the smallest group sharing the water with Rockhoppers and Gentoo which are the largest group.

We watched the three zebras walking up the hill and gradually coming in to our line of vision but with those amazing stripes it was hard to watch for too long without your eyes going funny …. a bit like having your eyes tested.
