Grey Heron

The young one met me by the path today! She had a feed then made her way to the edge of the loch to join the older female for some more. After feeding them (and the 3 Crows) I made my way round to the other end to see the males. A mystery was solved for me en route, the new adult is actually the older female who has worked out my route and flies over to a gap in the trees to wait on me for some extra fish (I spotted her today). At the other end the male gave me his usual loud greeting as he flew over and  got his share, the young male got a good share as well before the older male chased him. This afternoon itwas just the 2 males.
