What is it?

14°C  -  11 mph WSW Wind Speed  -  21 mph Gusts  -  Overcast.  The Broadband engineers are drilling outside my living room window today so I was spared a lot of that bother by doing a big shop at Lidls, Iceland and Savers.  It's been a dreich sort of day weatherwise anyway so the garden had no attraction for me!  A bit short of blip ideas until this creature fell off one of my shopping bags.  I thought it was the carcase of a dead insect  -  it's about one inch long  -  but I have my doubts after seeing what the camera produced.  Any ideas?  Nice turn around by our Chancellor  -  I don't suppose his buddies are pleased though☺☺
