Tomato harvest

Today was I’s actual 6th birthday, the last of three days of celebration in different ways.

C and I went to her school’s Harvest Festival at the church. All the classes did something, her class performed a song. I was behind a pillar so couldn’t see her but could hear her as she has a strong voice!

This afternoon I did a bit in the garden as well as picking the last of the tomatoes. They have done really well this year with the hot weather but there are some green ones, not enough for chutney though.

Last presents were opened by the birthday girl followed by cake left over from the party.
