Low Sun

It's been a lovely day again, lots of flowers posing in the sunshine.   The late afternoon light caught the wide open flower of Crocus bolensis as I grabbed a few minutes to do some watering but the blip choice was still hard.

A quieter day today, much needed.  For some proper time out, I met C for a walk this morning, she had good news about her planned move.  There was the small matter of the washing-up backlog after a rather disrupted weekend and I took advantage of the dry day for laundry too.   Sorted and supported Ruth's GP appointment by phone and a couple of other bits and pieces ... and baked some cookies.   Oh, and for light relief I cleared all the seagull ordure ... and resulting plants ... out of the gutters, filling a ten gallon bucket three times over.

But it was a - relatively - quiet day!
