Photography on the Darkside

There was a guest speaker at our Camera Club meeting tonight - Peter Benson - who showed us a lot of great photos of the cityscapes he has taken at night, mostly in London, with tips and tricks.  Clearly requires commitment to the cause including staying up until the small hours and sometimes dealing with suspicion & unwanted attention.

Without a blip tonight I was delighted to see the electricity repair team still at work when I got home in the dark.  (Seemed appropriate to blip a photo taken at night).  Things have been very disrupted since Friday night when the power went off in part of the High Street...  Most of Saturday and Sunday seemed to be waiting for the traffic light guys but today was a flurry of activity.  

Fingers crossed they will finish tomorrow and the very annoying traffic lights outside our house will go away..
