Dad's hammer and carpenters' belt

Late this afternoon I did a few small outside jobs.

Dad's belt and hammer helped me achieve what I needed to do. He'd like my garden and handy woman solution.

He gave me the belt when he felt he no longer had the strength to use it. I was about 11 years old when I found the hammer in long grass, left behind by builders who'd been and gone. I gave it to Dad and now it's mine.

Today's gratitude: For the blessing of a little of Dad's engineering brain.
