Take me instead!

I was walking, I went towards the bench where a kingfisher appeared, I was overjoyed...I thought at last I will be lucky enough to get a photo. Nope, it did the perfect pose and flew off before I could get my camera out, so I waited nearly an hour for it to return...but then as if it sensed my upset, the pigeon flew on to the other post not long after. comical and lovely.
