Election Season

City election campaigning is underway. Today was the first time I had seen electronic billboards used. Adelaide, although a modern city, does not have a large voting electorate. Residents and business owners can vote. The majority of the work force commutes into the city from the suburbs and are not eligible to vote. Campaigning is normally through small formal and informal neighbourhood meetings, leafleting and door knocking. Small town strategies. Billboards are a new strategy. Interesting.
