Life through the lens...

Changing seasons.

Summer is over and now we have Autumn but nature is already preparing itself for Spring and Summer next year, as it goes to sleep for Winter.

After painting the fence yesterday I didn’t have time to do much gardening, so thankfully it has been another mild dry day until now ( 3pm) when it has just started raining.
Not having taken a photo it was a quick dash before my camera got wet.

These are some of the tiny nasturtium seeds which are now all over gravel. Difficult to pick up so I leave them, and when they start sprouting next year just pullout the plants I don’t want.

The runner bean plants are now also in the bin. Picked the last 2lbs . Some were too stringy to eat, but there are more than enough left for tea.

Fortunately it is brown bin day on Thursday as it is completely full.
Still more tidying up needed. Pots to clear and bulbs to plant, but all that will now have to wait for another day.

Sat down enjoying a cuppa and a biscuit now.
