Tiny Tuesday.. Cactus

This little cactus is only about 50cms high, but has some nasty, viscous looking thorns ..I've had it a couple of years and it's put on some growth this year, hoping to see it flower one day.
Dull today, no sun but still quite mild...I've spent most of it researching for a holiday in the sun in the new year. It will be three years since my last Spanish trip but I've now booked for Tenerife in January....somewhere warm, can't wait....
