Chichester

I spent a lovely day in Chichester which I have never visited before. I went to look at an exhibition in the Pallant House Gallery which was excellent, and then had time to explore the charming streets and medieval cathedral.  My blip is the tapestry behind the high altar designed by John Piper in 1966 to depict the Holy Trinity. I was lucky to see it because it has only just returned from spending 3 months in a freezer (to kill the moths that had been discovered eating it) and being restored so it is as colourful as it was when new,
