A risky meal

This is a shaggy parasol mushroom; its scientific name used to be Macrolepiota rhacodes but recent DNA studies have placed it in the genus Chlorophyllum. Taxonomy is so confusing!
Shaggy parasols are edible, but only when cooked, and even then they cause stomach upsets in around one in 25 people.
