Frameries Sling

We spent the morning in Frameries (Near Mons) at the rugby finals; unfortunately my son's team got knocked out in the quarter finals, losing by 1 try to nil after having possession for 99 % of the game and having the opposition scoring with the last move of the game. Oh well, life goes on... as the French say C'est la vie, there will be other games. I'd like to think that if they had their full team available they would have got a little further!

We are off out tonight to the annual Scrum-down rugby party (adults only) to raise money for the school rugby club, it is normally a pretty raucous affair. This year's theme is musicals, The under 13's parents have chosen Moulin Rouge, so there should be some pretty outrageous costumes (by the women anyway!). For most of us men it should just be top hats and tails.
If I am still capable of taking some photos after midnight tomorrows blip may be taken then!
