Fly Agaric

I have a photographic assignment this coming Saturday,  blipping the folks taking part in the charity walk for Parkinson's at Wytham Woods near Oxford.  Becky and Euan will be walking the six mile route and if you can spare a few pennies, please drop by their fundraising page for a very good cause.

The traffic was dreadful when we set out for my recorder lesson this morning so it was a much shorter lesson than it should have been, which was okay because it was the first after a too long gap and it just eased me back in to playing again.  We then drove to Keighley to consult the building society but it was very busy so we decided to call it a morning and head home for a cuppa.

Angela and I had a soggy walk and catch up around the moor and spotted lots of these mushrooms, then I've been sewing faux sheepskin pockets for Shep's heat pads in preparation for the bad weather.

Several neighbours and their children have called in to 'Wendy's Bookshop' and gone away clutching books from the ones I sorted out earlier in the week.  There have been some lovely nostalgic conversations as the parents are of a similar age to Becky and Jenny and recognised titles and authors of favourites.
