Gerry and his son Ben getting on with the bay. They have been delayed by the scaffolding that was in place for the Roofers. Gerry built one of the extensions in our old house. We’ve known him for years.

Our washing machine broke yesterday. The usual dilemma, do we pay someone to come out, charge a small fortune, to then find it can’t be repaired? Or do we just bin it straight away and buy a new one? Such a waste, but sadly the way of the world. so today I had to choose a new one. Rows and rows of them in Curry’s! A washing machine is a washing machine, right? I just said I want a top end integrated machine. Went for a Bosch in the end. Get it next Wednesday.
