Bankside

A little pocket of wildflowers, still colourful, along the bank of the inlet. Unfortunately in shade, although the reflections in the water beyond, of the maple tree catching some late light, were brighter. The oranges and purples of the asters seem most saturated in the image and are somehow strange bedfellows. Perhaps a little busy, with all the deadheads, but heartwarming nonetheless.

Also posted a catchup for Oct 2nd today.
