Liverpool

This beautiful shot of Liverpool has been contributed to our crowdsourced album of photographs of locations mentioned in Lorna Lloyd's Diary of the war (as featured in the LornaL journal) by SMLP - thank you!

Lorna refers to Liverpool twice in her war diary: first on 2nd December 1940 with reference to heavy bombing raids over several English cities, then in her very last diary entry of 4th January 1941 when she notes that her father is rejoining the war effort from Liverpool. You can hear these two diary entries in episodes 7 and 8 of our podcast series.

Can you help your fellow blippers?

We're still seeking photographs of the locations listed below to add to this journal. Please send any that you think suitable from your own archive (preferably not blipped before) to h.hall@napier.ac.uk. Thank you!
