Blackheath to Mollymook

I’m back blipping to catch up on our travel days and this was the day we said goodbye to Blackheath, heading south on the holiday Monday. We successfully avoided the Sydney traffic but ended up on the M4 bypassing the more scenic coastal route until we picked it up after reaching Wollongong.

This was a day of driving with some stops, but nothing worth a blip. That said, NSW has more than its fair share of wonderful beaches and inviting beach towns, and the day’s destination — Mollymook — is but one of them. It’s a 4-hour drive from Blackheath without stopping, but of course, we take our time getting there.

We arrive late in the day and since it is a holiday weekend and still school holidays, have difficulty finding somewhere to eat, so we settle for nearby Ulladulla.

At the end of the day, after a day of driving, even a motel bed looks good.
