Can gentle people change the world?

This is the next book we are reading at book group and this is the first couple of sentences.  I immediately knew that I would love the book, and I did...

...since, I've actually read it before. But I was so delighted when it was proposed as would love to discuss it with my friends and see what they make of it.  It's Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession.

I found it unassuming, funny and heart warming.  My recollection is that it is full of wry observations about life, introverts, friendship and treating each other with consideration and kindness, and I can't wait to read it again.
