Sam's Day

Ten years ago my wife Martine gave birth to a beautiful baby-boy. We already knew he had a neural tube defect that would not allow him to live. Although he was only alive for ten minutes, his life will remembered and celebrated and he continues to be loved. Happy birthday, Sam!!

A couple of years ago, we decided that May 4th would not only be the day to remember Sam, but also to celebrate with a special family day. This year, we decided to go for a couple of days at the Efteling, a theme park in The Netherlands. This photo is taken at the Sprookjesboom (Fairy Tale Tree), the same location as two years ago. Nice to see how the girls have grown. A great family day this has been. The fun will continue tomorrow; we will leave on Monday.
