Strips of light

Lovely sunny morning but it was blowing a hoolie!

I was surprised to see a Red Admiral again & also a Humming-bird Hawk-moth in the garden :-)

I had thought of a Flower Friday blip of either one of the poppies or the Buddleia ...... however the blustery wind put paid the that idea as they wouldn't keep still!

Instead I went hunting for something that was nailed down close to the ground!


Thought the Ivy-leaved Toad-flax looked rather pretty & it wasn't being blown all over so blip sorted :-)

Somewhat different weather this afternoon ........ we have just had some torrential rain! Lots of puddles out there now!
