Late Afternoon Sun

Not a lot done today really..although we did the ‘big shop’ this morning! A lot of puzzling has been done…whilst staring at the rain lashing down outside!

Late afternoon the sun appeared and I noticed the light shining through the leaves of the tree in the garden.

It is a cherry/prunus tree and the leaves are a dark red, although they are beginning to lose some of the deep colour. The bright sunlight showed up the yellow and oranges hues nicely, and there was still some blue in the sky.
