A pint with Shaun

At the end of the week, the start of the week was a long time ago, but this was then.

After The Analogues gig, the 4 of us, still stunned by what we had seen searched for a pub for a post match pint.

We ended up right back in the pub we started in, that had just 2 others in it.

As I ordered our drinks I turned to Glyn and said, 'it is them isn't it'. So mid order I popped over and said that clearly we knew it was them but as they were eating crisps we'd leave them alone and speak in a bit.

We then sat down, joined our wives and smiled.

Within 5 mins, Matt slid across the seats and said hello, and introductions followed. Shaun returned from the bar with more drinks, and more hellos.

So after not knowing how to talk about the gig and what we had just seen we now had 6 Music legends Shaun Keavney and Matt Everitt to help us out. Shaun who I have listened to daily driving to work and his afternoon show too, and Matt who he relentlessly has taken the p1ss out of all the way through.

A good chat, a fair few laughs, then Matt grabbed a train so we grabbed a selfie. Me, Glyn and Shaun.

Perfect ending to a great night.
