Echo

The colour in the leaves on the cherry tree echoes the colour of the pansies. Summer passing the year’s baton to Autumn.

I spotted this early this morning & waited for the sun to come round to the garden so it would light up the tree.

The pipers are out in Haddington again, so the backdrop to this photo is the skirl of the pipes.
