Timeless

I dropped Tess off for her Keep Fat class at West Pennard near Glastonbury this morning then took a walk up to the village church of St Nicholas, which was looking serene in the Autumn light.

With the Victorian village school alongside, this view probably hasn’t changed much in over 200 years.

When Tess got back we went to get our Covid booster jabs at The Grange, part of the old Clarks factory estate, which dates back to 1650 and is now home to a museum, detailing the history of the Clark family and the fossil collection of the Alfred Gillette Trust.

This evening we had a meal in one of the Village restaurants before heading down to the Strode Theatre to watch the George Clooney / Julia Roberts romcom, Ticket to Paradise: corny, predictable but good fun.
