I decided to capture an image of the moon tonight because the sky was very clear, and it was very bright in the sky. This handheld image of the nearly full moon with 98% illumination was created October 8, 2022 at 10:36pm EDT. The moon will be completely full tomorrow October 9 at 4:55am EDT.
