Mother and Baby Herons

Yes, there are 2 babies there. This year the leaves are so late that you can see the nesting herons near the motorway! I have one shot of a nest with 4 young , the birds spilling out of their nest in blipfolio. These nests are in trees about 40 metres high and it is apparently the largest colony in the Rhone Valley with 16 pairs of birds.
