The Only One

Stray mama is not keen on mommyhood. White kitten died in the night. It was much smaller so I really did not expect it to make it. Poor mama is traumatized, though slowly coming around to appreciate my bearing of food and pets. I am crating her with the blue kitten every couple of hours and he seems to be holding on. Very wriggly and demanding. Fingers crossed for him to stay strong and for her to trust me just enough to eventually get them a better life. Shelter full, and so many many other babies won't have any chance at all. I really hate kitten season and the turds in this world that continue to allow it.
