Deputies Lamp

When I left school I worked in the office of a local firm that made Salt-Glazed Stoneware (Pipes, Gulleys and Chimney Pots). They had a few Drift Mines on the moors above Bacup to mine for clay and coal.
This is a Type 6 Deputies Lamp made by The Protector Lamp & Lighting Co. Ltd, Eccles - quite a collectors item nowadays.
