Hi de Hi

Thank you for the response to yesterday’s visit to RHS Bridgewater.

Today we were orienteering on Ainsdale dunes. The assembly was in Pontins holiday camp. It felt like the clock had been turned back to holiday camps in the sixties. Hence the title. This was reinforced by a gathering of scooters and their riders outside the camp.

A long  walk to the start meant we started in the wooded part of the dunes. A really enjoyable but challenging area to navigate through. We walked past this derelict property with interesting artwork on the way back to assembly. The extra shows the aeroplane sculpture we past on the way to the start plus some of the vegetation in the dunes and the side of the building in the main.

A really enjoyable weekend.
