First place

The yarn shop window won first place in the town window dressing competition for the autumn festival.  He is a very splendid knitted ringmaster.

The carpet shop window (extra) was also as good as ever.

We passed them as we headed down the high street to Costa for our regular post ringing UNO session.  I didn’t win a single game! Glad I got few wins in last week, otherwise I would be in danger of getting the wooden spoon this month.
