Echium Pininana.

They've certainly grown but no flowers appeared this year so they have to get through another winter, I think I've got enough fleece but they might have to take their chances on their own. Usually they are biannual but I have read that they can be triannual in colder climates. It was unusually cold to June then very hot and they went dormant for a while so, next summer I have a date with 12' high flower stalks!

Did some more path work for a while this morning then met RF at the city mill for lunch before walking the dogs, nice Sunday things to do.

The Hunter's moon tonight is hanging in the sky with a veil of light cloud as I write this.
