The homestead, viewed from the Eastside

We had a lovely day with picnic at Long Point Preserve, Machiasport, Eastside. After lunch took a mile and a half walk along the rocky shore at low tide. That walk took us around the point bringing us directly across from our Machiasport house. Our white 1860's Cape style home on the bluff above the tidal Machias River, below the historic First Congregational church. I will be sore undoubtedly, tomorrow.

My vertigo is better today, not gone, but workable, enough for almost a five mile walk. I did take a tumble, stumbling on a buried rock and flying forward with a knee and faceplant..Luckily, there were only small pebbles for my face, but my knee landed on a rock. Bionic hip, no problem, thank goodness.

For the Record,
This day came in cold, windy and sunny.

All hands begging for PEACE.
