Acorns!

I had no idea acorns were so varied until I had a good look this weekend. They’re so beautiful with their different colours, stripes and shiny surface. And always, the little fairy caps are adorable. The oaks have been laden this year, for several weeks now my garden hours have had the background sound of acorns falling to the ground. Happy to have the time to enjoy such simple pleasures for once!
