Starey starey eyes

A fairly usual Saturday of shopping and visiting elderly relatives. I visit each week a blind aunt with groceries and sort out her correspondence etc. A few weeks ago her elderly cat passed away The loss of companionship was keenly felt so a new cat was got from Lothian Cat rescue.

"Mia" - named after her distinctive meow is much livelier and inquisitive and competes well in a staring contest. It was difficult to get a close up as she kept twitching and shifting her gaze. But this gives an idea of her alertness.
