Dunstaffnage Castle And Chapel

Another day of sunshine and showers, but we made it out and headed along to Dunbeg just outside of Oban, to explore Dunstaffnage Castle and Chapel.

One of the oldest castles in Scotland, It is a small, partially ruined castle. However, you can go inside the three-storey gatehouse and access the battlement walls from which you get fabulous views overlooking the Firth of Lorn. Not far from the castle set in woodland there is also the remains of the chapel.

It was a lovely wee castle to explore.
