The Happiness of the Short Distance Runner

Running on World Mental Health Day.

I know running's not for everyone but it works wonders for me. I'm probably alone in the fact that the mere thought of Parkrun gives me the fear. I seem to be happiest when running alone, surrounded by quiet and nature.

Took some peanuts with me tonight for the 2 crows I often see. Feeding birds and communing with crows also helps my mental wellbeing. Wonder if anyone else takes bird food out running with them? There must surely be another oddball like me out there somewhere hehe.

Specialist subjects on Mastermind tonight include Alice in Wonderland and Detectorists so I may do ok for a change! :-)
