Cat-in-a-box version 2

Due to the lack of economic growth in this household, and austerity, there is only one cat box here. So my poor deprived cats have to take it in turns to sleep in the box. (See my previous blip for my other cat-in-the-box)

Today’s news tells of the ‘warm places’ projects which councils and local communities are setting up. People who can’t afford to turn their heating on can go to community spaces to sit around and keep warm. Admirable actions from charities, communities etc. But should we be accepting this deplorable exorbitant cost of gas and electricity and trying to ‘cope’ with it? And should we be accepting that the huge companies supplying our power are making unprecedented profits while many people are struggling and worrying about keeping warm?
